Stone Suspension uses light and shadow to create the illusion of hovering stones. One layer of stones rests directly upon the floor. A second layer rests upon a sheet of glass supported by the first layer of stones. A light projected onto the stones creates a shadow which creates the illusions of depth and suspension.
